All About Therapy
My approach
According to the American Psychological Association, “Psychologists help people of all ages live happier, healthier and more productive lives.” Through the use of various psychotherapy methods and collaborative treatment measures, my patients develop life-changing habits to help them cope with any of life’s various obstacles. My therapy sessions are designed to dissect personal issues and provide patients with effective tools to help them see the glass half full instead of half empty. I employ a solution-focus approach, which assist my clients to find active ways to resolve difficulties in their lives. This approach is a sub-category of a CBT (Cognitive behavioral therapy)
Psychotherapy
A process of developing your self-awareness
Your well-being is my ultimate concern.
Since 2005, I have provided patients in the Montreal area with a wide range of psychological and counseling services to suit their needs. My online psychotherapy sessions are aimed at an adult clientele.
My therapy sessions are designed to strengthen your confidence and assist you in the healing process. I used an integrative approach in therapy (Cognitive behavioral therapy, Humanistic Approach, Positive/Mindfulness psychology, and Emotional Focused therapy).

Individual Therapy
During psychotherapy, the client shares and explores their present life challenges in a safe environment. The client identifies the effects of the stressors on various aspects of their life, such as mental health, relationships, work, etc. The psychologist offers guidance, tools, and comprehensive analysis to the client to improve their psychological well-being.
First Appointment: What to Expect?
Starting therapy for the first time can feel overwhelming. Not knowing what to expect or how to prepare may add to that stress. The purpose of the first session is to help you feel comfortable, informed, and supported.
During our initial meeting, we will take time to get to know one another. I will ask questions about your current concerns, emotional well-being, and personal history. This session includes a brief psychological assessment to better understand your needs and challenges.
Together, we will explore what brings you to therapy and begin identifying a therapeutic goal that feels meaningful and achievable for you. Future sessions will focus on working toward this goal at a pace that feels right for you. Along the way, I may provide practical tools, reading suggestions, or reflective and creative exercises to support your progress.
As your goals are met, therapy sessions may gradually become less frequent or come to an end, depending on your needs and preferences.
